karate in crewe

How much does karate cost?

Lessons

We only charge £3 per person per session, this is one, if not the lowest in the area for Karatelessons.

We want to give our students the chance to enjoy karate and not breaking the bank at the same time.

Karate should be fun, enjoyable and affordable.

Some clubs charge you monthly and on direct debit, like a gym membership.  Whilst this may suit some people, we would rather pay per lesson.

Karate Insurance / license

Annual Insurance – £14 for first year / £12 renewal – This lasts you 12 months, it is also a record of your gradings.

Karate Suit / Gi

Child Karate suit / Gi – £18 upwards – You can buy a Karate suit (Gi) through ourselves, we have a good supplier of quality outfits for all budgets.

Children grow quickly, so we would recommend speaking to us before ordering.

Adult Karate suit / Gi – £21 upwards – As with the children’s Gi’s we offer choices with variety of prices and weights.

Adult Gi’s are from size 160cm and upwards.

All of the above can be sourced through the club, or see our online store for more information.

If you’re unsure as to what to order then please speak to us in the club.

Why do we wear a Gi?

We wear Gi’s as a symbol that relates directly back to the origins of Karate in Okinawa.  The original founder Sensei Funakoshi wanted all the students to look on an equal level during training, this was because there was a class society issue in Japan.  By having the same white uniform they all looked the same.
